OpenAI CEO Sam Altman Revealed as Mystery Investor Behind Anti-Aging Startup Retro Biosciences

Retro Biosciences, a startup that aims to add 10 years to the average human lifespan by discovering how to rejuvenate our bodies, was backed with $180m by Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI.

Altman, who has previously invested in companies like Stripe and Airbnb, has a wide-ranging portfolio that includes Retro and Helion Energy, which aims to tame atom smashing to create a limitless source of clean energy.

According to Altman, he invested almost all his liquid net worth into both companies because he thinks they will have the biggest positive impact on human affairs.
